𝐌𝐈𝐃𝐒𝐀𝐘𝐀𝐏, 𝐂𝐎𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐎 – 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. The 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐨 conducted 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝 (𝐏𝐅𝐀) session for the school heads of Midsayap South-West District, teachers and personnel of Agriculture Elementary School, and Agriculture High School held at Lomboy Hall, Midsayap Public Market, Midsayap, Cotabato.

The PFA was facilitated by the Division Nurses, trained PFA providers from DRRM Coordinators, and Registered Guidance Counselors from both DepEd and Notre Dame of Midsayap College. The venue and meals were sponsored by Mayor Rolly Sacdalan.

SDO Cotabato organized the intervention in response to the brutal shooting of Arlyn D. Alcebar, 54, School Principal of Agriculture Elementary School, who was attacked at the school’s front gate in Midsayap, Cotabato on the morning of August 12, 2025.

The initiative aims to provide immediate psychosocial support, equip education leaders and teachers with coping strategies, and help ensure continuity of learning amid the tragedy. SDO Cotabato reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare and safety of all learners and personnel while calling for justice and community solidarity.
